After just a few games I felt like playing against the AI it wasn't a matter of if I would win, just when. It is a really well designed board game! However this does mean the AI struggles and is by far what limits replay-ability the most. The mechanics are really well balanced, there is a lot of intricate things going on and everything works together. I had played the board game in real life a few times, but it took me playing it many times digitally to fully appreciate it. For me this was not a problem, I get the digital board games precisely because I just want to get a casual game in at my own pace that I can stop and start at leisure, but if you were hoping to compete online against real human opponents. However the online multiplayer does seem to be broken. Overall there is a LOT to keep you happy if you just want to pick up and play against bots.
